East Central is the defending South Sub-Section Champion with their performance of "The Anatomy of Gray."
As per State High School League rules, play titles cannot be identified with the name of the performing school. The order of presentation is "Fog on the Mountain," "Note to Self," "I Know I Saw Gypsies," "Homework Eats Dog and Other Woeful Tales," "Wake-Up Call," "A Bright, Clear Sky," and "Judah's Daughter." Once a production has begun, there is no admittance to the theater. The doors will be opened between shows to allow spectators to come and go.
As a fundraiser, East Central PTO will have lunch and concessions available all day in the Elementary Cafeteria.

Students Learn Interviewing Skills
On December 20, 2011, East Central’s Business Writing class had the opportunity to gain interviewing experience through the first Speed Interviewing day. Community members volunteered to assist in interviewing junior and senior students for five minutes. Students interviewed for careers in journalism, ministry, law enforcement, social service, school nursing, teaching, military, and theater. Students were rated on first impression, ability to answer questions, and overall interviewing skills.
